    What is Ezcema?

    Ezcema occurs when the skin becomes very dry. It can happen in various forms. It differs from individual to individual.

    Aloe Vera

    Fish oil or cod liver oil can also come to your rescue

    The Omega 3 fatty acids present in fish oil or cod liver oil help a great deal in improving the condition of eczema if it is taken in dosage of 4- 10gm per day. Olive oil, flax seed, nuts, can all be consumed.

    Apply Vegetable Shortening

    The thick oily kitchen pantry will definitely come to your rescue. It helps in healing dry, cracked skin. You have to just cover the affected area, then cover it with a plastic wrap and then put a tape around it, leaving it for about 2 hours.

    Turmeric is way too good

    Turmeric aids in reducing swelling in many problems, as far as skin problems are concerned, turmeric works as an antioxidant and protects the skin, thereby reducing the wound. You can have one teaspoon of turmeric daily.

    Over the counter products

    These are mostly medicines which one can get at any chemical store, without needing to get it approved from the doctors.

    Having a bath

    We all know that how useful bathing is for all of us, but in the case of eczema, it becomes all the more important, as dry skin requires all the moisture. One can nicely fill the tub with warm water or take a shower( if you prefer to take one)and immediately moisture yourself. You could also add some bleach, vinegar, salt, oatmeal or baking soda, to reduce the symptoms of eczema.

    Moisturizing

    Once the skin becomes very dry, it can become irritated and further cause eczema to burst. There are many reasons which lead to dry skin, like low humidity, cold temperatures, very strong chemical-laden products, and washing of hands and face very frequently.

    Hence Moisturizing plays an important role in controlling the condition of eczema.
